Welcome to Luminous Arc: The Experience.
I spent a long time looking for a great SRPG for the DS, and then I played this game. At first I thought, "So, so, reminds me of Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance". Then the story kicked in. This game has a fantastic storyline, and kept me coming back for more, time after time. To really capture another element of the story though, you need to do the intermissions, and do them correctly, for that purpose I bring you this, Luminous Arc: The Intermissons.

For those of you who for one reason or another dislike scrolling, I offer an easy system (probably the same as any major FAQ you've ever read on the internet) to search with!. Every supporting character has the potential to have a maxed heart (heart with an arrow
through it). Each question has exactly 3 choices, each with a value
of +2, +1, or +0. This is the heart progression scale:
0 points - No Heart (...You weren't even trying)
1 point - Empty Heart (Requires .5 perfect answers)
7 points - Half Heart (Requires 3.5 perfect answers)
14 points - Full Heart (Requires 7 perfect answers)
20 points - Full Heart with an Arrow (Requires 10 perfect answers)
At each level (aside from No Heart), you will receive an item from
the character. Items vary, so it is
advised you max out everybody (And for good reason you'll see!). Also, if a CG exists for that character,
it is only obtainable once you've obtained a Half Heart.or higher. (Some of the coolest scenes in the game. Vanessa is my favorite.)

1. What happens if I answer incorrectly?
You don't receive a few items and vitae, some of which are unique
while most are not. Don't worry, you'll have a second chance in the New Game+. (See Below)
2. Why can't I speak to my character? The heart is all blue. Help!
The blue heart signifies that you've finished all 10 Intermissions.
You can try again on New Game+.
3. Will I keep my heart level for New Game+?
You betcha.
4. My heart is full already!
Only if it's got an arrow through it.
5. Why do I want to max it. It's tedious.
I'm not making you read this. =)
6. Will random encounters allow me to have an Intermission?
Yes, as will chapter battles. Dungeon Battles in New Game+ will not allow Intermissions.
7. Suspend saves before killing the last enemy?
Yes.
8. Does it matter who I max out?
Only Cecille needs to be maxed before she becomes a Witch. Other than
that, it's the player's choice.
